When you uninstall a game there are sometimes leftovers that won't be removed automatically so if at any point in time you used UI mods, the folder might actually exist and get used when you install the game to the same location again. You could also try deleting all your ini files and start the game via the launcher to generate the default ones again, maybe something is broken in them.Īnd finally, as tired as you seem to be about it, check your Fallout4/data folder for a folder called interface anyways. Graphic drivers up to date? Contents of the plugins.txt (yes, that could cause it even if you don't use mods.)? Have you tried validating your game cache? That's the only thing that would make sense since you reinstalled the game yesterday and what you downloaded is the most up to date version of the game, no updating required since Steam pulls the whole content from the most recent pool when you do a fresh install.īasically, check if you accidentially installed the beta patch.
